The TRAVelite even comes with a wall mount so you can hang the unit from a hook or nail. That gives you many options for how to direct the light to just where you need it most.
It is recommended that you use the Northern Technologies TRAVelite, Travel SAD Therapy Light at 10-12 inches (25-30 cm) away for 20-30 minutes upon awakening in the morning. At 10-12 inch range the unit will deliver 10,000 lux, or alternatively at 18 inches (45 cm) the unit delivers 5,000 lux of light and should be used for one hour instead. The light is only absorbed through the eyes but you do not need to be looking directly at the Northern Technologies TRAVelite.
